### If the linear momentum measures 50 %then K. E will increase by 125%

Percentage increase in K.E,
(E)=[E2−E1/E1]×100=[E2/E1−1]×100
But Eαp2⇒E2/E1=p22/p21
∴ % increase in K.E. =[p22/p21−1]×100
Let p1=100, then
p2=100+50=150% increase in
K.E.=[(150)2/(100)2−1]×100=[225/100−1]×100 =125%
Therefore, the percentage increase in its kinetic energy is 125%
